Mundota Fort & Palace

Placed on top of a hill in the Aravalli Range north-west of the Pink City Jaipur, Mundota Fort overlooks the village of village. construction of this beautiful property was completed in 14th century, by the Naruka Rajputs. It was later owned by the Nathawat Rajputs after a fierce battle, they remain the owners till today. At the foothill, the palace was built in the late 15th century by Nathji, who was the grandson of Raja Prithviraj of Amer. It the same Vansh and was expanded by the following generations. The Mundota Thikana (The Estate) was enjoying the highest respect at the royal court of the Jaipur dynasty.
